The exhibit on the life of army ants and their guests has opened in the Biology/Physics building (see UCONN today). The public opening drew close to 300 visitors on Sunday, who discovered the giant ant and its eight guests, the 100 photographs illustrating the tiny and unique guests, and actual specimens displayed under microscopes and engaged in activities to earn and collect the guest buttons. Many guests toured the Biodiversity Research Collection, guided by EEB graduate students highlighting its richness and scientific value.
